In “Two and a Half,” I visualized my question about aesthetic experience.
In my work, creatures devised based on the images of the neural tube, and the sensory organ appears on the three-dimensional field. It expresses the potential of immersive experience that two-dimensional artwork can provoke which transcends two-dimensional experience and exist somewhere in a higher dimension when the viewer appreciates it.
This is the first version of the series. I used etching to create minute dimension to the surface. Also, I put the thin mirror on the pedestal to capture the whole work and space to a completely flat surface.
